Tuesday 28th June
Baldragon beat Monifieth 9-0 in the DSA U14 Champions League to lift the league shield on the last day of the season. Baldragon just needed a win, otherwise St.John's or Monifieth might benefit, and the game was hardly a minute old before Baldragon converted a low cross from the right for 1-0. Baldragon soon netted twice more and were 6 ahead at the break. Early in the second half Baldragon went 7 up and despite some Monifieth pressure it stayed 7-0 till near the end. It rained most of the afternoon but that did not spoil Baldragon's day as they celebrated their championship win.

Just before the break St.Paul's went into the lead but St.John's equalised at the start of the second half. The second half got going in the last ten minutes when Barnhill struck an equaliser from the right into the bottom corner and normal time finished with the score 2-2. The game then went into Golden Goal Extra Time of 5 minutes each way with chances for both sides. With time almost up it looked like a share of the trophy was on the cards but Fintry scored a last-minute winner up the hill on the left-hand side to win the cup and bring the game to a dramatic conclusion. Isaac Dunn of Barnhill was presented with the Bill Ferrier Man of the Match Trophy before both sides received their medals and Fintry lifted the cup.
Monifieth beat Grove 3-2 in the DSA Arab Trust Senior Champions League. A good close match in the morning kick-off at Whitton. It looked like being 0-0 at the break but just before then a Monifieth corner led to a glancing header which crept in at the far post. Into the second half Monifieth doubled their lead with a cracking strike from around 20 yards into the top corner. A good move led to Grove coming back into it, a cross from the left to beyond the far post was turned back into the centre and a shot from 10 yards was placed wide of the keeper for 1-2. Monifieth were awarded a free kick just outside the box and the free kick fooled everybody - the Grove wall expected a high ball so jumped in the air only for the low shot to go beneath the wall and keeper for 1-3. Near the end Grove struck again for 2-3 but ran out of time to find an
equaliser.
