U15 NATIONAL TROPHY 2010-11
Friday 24th September
U15 National Trophy
Dundee 1 (Corey Gray) Edinburgh 2 (University Grounds, Riverside, 3.30)
U15 SQUAD
James Crossan, Bradie Heggie (Craigie)
Matty Allan, Ranald Bowie, Chris Culloch, Kieran Dack, Euan Derrick, Jordan Garden, Darren Mackie, Finlay MacLean, Matty Muir, Ross Muir, Duncan Robertson (Grove)
Corey Gray, John Shields (Morgan)
Liam Berry, Gary Kearnan, Josh Skelly, Kieran Walker (St.Paul's)
Thursday 18th November
U15 National Trophy
Dundee 2 (Corey Gray, John Shields) Aberdeenshire 4
The U15s still have a chance but now must rely on others. The U15s will have to beat Aberdeen next week and hope Edinburgh beat Aberdeen as well - we don't know when that game will take place. Even if all that were to happen it could still go down to goal difference, but at least it is not over yet.
U15 National Trophy
Edinburgh 2 Aberdeen 1
At least this result means that Dundee travel to Aberdeen on Friday with a chance. A win by a margin of 3 goals would put Dundee through, so there is all to play for.
Friday 28th January (rearranged from December when it was frozen off)
U15 National Trophy
Aberdeen 3 Dundee 1 (Darren Mackie) (Garthdee Astroturf, 12.20)
A close game, Aberdeen had more of the chances but only wrapped it up in the last minute. Darren Mackie gave Dundee an early lead but Aberdeen equalised two minutes later. Needing to win by three goals, the defeat means the end of the road. Though we lost all three games, the results were all fairly close and the games competitive.

SENIOR NATIONAL TROPHY 2010-11
Tuesday 28th September
Senior National Trophy
Dundee 3 (Ryan Aitken, Nicky Mann 2) Perth & Kinross 1 (McLauchlan) (University Grounds, Riverside, 5.00)
The Dundee squad : Gary Greig, Nairn Johnstone, Ryan Kyle, Ross Milne, Kieran Strachan (Baldragon), Ryan Aitken, James Lawson, David Rae, Scott Taylor (Morgan), Connaire Connelly, Shaun Dyer, Matthew Ferrie, Jamie Irvine, Nicky Mann, Connor McDonald, Anton Mordente (St.John's)
A good start for the Seniors who had the better of the 1st half even though there was only one goal in it at halftime and it could have been 1-1 if P&K had not missed a sitter. The Dundee goal was a cracker - a ferocious 30 yarder from Ryan Aitken (Morgan) into the postage stamp - the Goal of the Season competition closed immediately after that, it has to be the winner, though feel free to keep trying!
Nicky Mann (St.John's) put Dundee 2 up shortly after halftime, then P&K had a good spell for 15 minutes creating several chances one of which hit the post and went in to pull it back to 2-1. We were just discussing whether the light would hold for penalties, should P&K equalise, when Nicky Mann drew the keeper and scored from a tight angle to finish the game off with 10 minutes left.
Good performances all round. Particular thanks to St.John's for providing a few extra, as there were a number of players unavailable. Out of the 13 players there were 8 from St.John's, 3 from Morgan, 2 from Baldragon - everybody played at least a half.
Senior National Trophy
Dundee 3 (Aitken, Mann 2) Perth & Kinross 1 (McLauchlan)
Thursday 18th November
Senior National Trophy
Dundee 8 (Nicky Mann 5 (1 pen), Scott Taylor 2, Ross Milne) Aberdeenshire 4 (switched from University Grounds, Riverside, to Dawson Park, 2.00)
The Seniors are now guaranteed a place in the knockout stage after Christmas. After 2 games each Aberdeen top the table on goal difference with 6 points, Dundee are 2nd also on 6 points, Aberdeenshire and Perth & Kinross are on 0 points. Next week's game at Aberdeen will decide who tops the group, the top team will be at home in the quarterfinals, the runner-up will be away.
Friday 21st January (rearranged from late November when it was frozen off)
Senior National Trophy Group 2
Aberdeen 5 Dundee 1 (Scott Taylor) (Garthdee Astroturf, 2.00)
Aberdeen won the group, Dundee now away to Ayrshire in the quarterfinal.
Aberdeen were 1 up at halftime but also missed a barrowload, Dundee played really well right after halftime with three excellent chances, Aberdeen scored again on the hour and pressurised the Dundee defence for the next 15 minutes to take a 5-0 lead. Dundee fought back in the latter stages, Scott Taylor scored a late consolation goal. Defeated but not disheartened.
Thursday 17th February
Senior National Trophy Quarterfinal
Ayrshire 17 Dundee 0 (Portland Park, Troon Juniors, 2.00)
A bad day at the office. Dundee's best player, Ryan Aitken, suffered a bad injury and, having used up all the substitutes earlier, it meant having to play the last half-hour with 10 players so the heavy score became even heavier.
The strong Ayrshire team went on to win the trophy. Dundee had to draft in some late replacements to cover the many last-minute withdrawals, and, even though the result was hard to take, the experience of playing in the National Trophy stood Keir Reilly and David Geekie in good stead for going on to lift the trophy the next season.
SENIOR SQUAD
Gary Greig, Ross Milne (Baldragon)
Ryan Aitken, Scott Gordon, James Lawson, David Rae, Scott Taylor (Morgan)
