Dundee beat Fife 5-3 in the U15 National Trophy. On a miserable wet day at East Fife Dundee struggled to get into the game early on and Fife led 1-0 from the 8th minute. Five minutes from the break Dundee turned it around with 2 goals in just over a minute. First great work by Craig Moore set up Stuart Heenan on the right and his cross was touched in by Ross Clark coming in at the far post. A minute later Stuart Heenan provided the assist for Josh McGuire to make it 2-1 for Dundee at the break. Fife hit back to equalise early in the second half but ten minutes later Dundee regained the lead again through Josh McGuire. The always-willing Stuart Heenan got his deserved goal to put Dundee 4-2 up. With a few minutes left Luca Ferguson produced a great double-save but Fife netted for 3-4. With all the subs getting on and Sam Ogilvie looking impressive on the left it was little surprise that Dundee regained their 2-goal advantage when Brodie Cussick finished from close range in the last minute. Dundee play Edinburgh in the last game at home next Wednesday and barring some miraculous results should have a place in the quarterfinals after Christmas.
